my mom is home today. she won’t be traveling for a couple of weeks and it looks like she’ll be able to do some of her work from home. this is most awesome news and makes me a happy shiba.
for sure, humom will see me sleep lots (like this photo she took of me) while she’s around. however, i hope some walking is in our future. i like walks. also, treats. *feed the shiba*

there are quite a few puppy shiba pics going around on twitter today. i know that @Crunchy_karma and @KnoxyFoxy11 have helped lead twitter in the enjoyment of such pics.
well, i had to get in on the fun, even if my “puppy pics” are just pics from me when i was about 8 months old until i was about 1 year old. why not before? because i was adopted a week after i turned 8 months old.

this morning i didn’t get to go into the park because someone from the city was cleaning up all the leaves.
i will miss all the leaves. they compliment my coloring well and are fun to jump around in.

like many other shibas (zuko and kaiju, to name two), i have an awesome fox toy. my toy has no stuffing but it does have a bottle inside—it makes a satisfying crunch when my shiba jaws of doom crush down upon it.

After another long day of traveling, I finally made it home, to my boys and 70 degree weather. All is good but I’m exhausted. Taro was half napping next to me in this photo. I guess sleepiness is infectious too.

it’s another taro shiba goofy photo friday! i was particularly exhausted after a walk one day. while i waited on the stairs for post-walk treats i made this odd face/body. hudad says i look like a shiba-toad.

i wasn’t feeling this well morning. wouldn’t eat. wouldn’t go to the bathroom.

kai took me to the vet. we think i was just nauseous from eating something that didn’t agree with me. i got some meds from the vet. however, before i could take them, i was eating and drinking again like a champion. so i guess my tummy is feeling better.
still, every shiba tummy needs belly scratches and tummy rubs.
