it may look like i’m practicing my shiba kissing skills, but i’m actually sending a raspberry to shiba rinji.

this photo was captured at a new year’s day meetup at papago dog park in tempe. i was lucky enough to see my friends mika, rinji and tokyo.

just in case you’re not familiar with tokyo, she’s shiba royalty from san diego. moreover, she’s my big bro zuko’s girl.

however, rinji (or his heart-stealing alter-ego, armando) tried to put the moves on tokyo. in good news, though, tokyo remained faithful to prince zuko and refused rinji’s advances.

i may have mocked rinji with my tongue out, but i am not so callous that i would refuse to hear rinji’s tale of heartbreak later. indeed, i gave him an open ear to tell me all about it and to ease his pain; he’s my shiba-buddy, after all.
