goodbye to my humans! hope they have a safe trip. and since my typists will be on vacation, i’d like to say a brief goodbye to my readers/ twitter followers for the next week or so. be sure to look at all my vacation pics from my trip to huntington beach/shibapalooza when you miss me.
now… it’s time for trick & taro fun to begin. my housemate trick and i are gonna be crazy!
kiyomi knows how to treat her human servants… have them bring you what you ask for, then wave them away with your paw.
kiyomi loves chewing her fleecy clean toy on the couch. see a set of pics of kiyomi chomping away over on flickr (the set includes this pic of kiyomi looking super-snoozy while chewing).
it’s a taro shiba hipstamatic wednesday. if you didn’t know, i go from zero/napping to eleven/full-alert-barking in approximately 2.7 seconds.
just before the above taro-at-full-alert pic was taken, this was me in my bed. i was so, so calm.
but then, i heard something and started barking. and barking. and barking some more.
a few minutes later, i calmed down, but i still had to keep watch of the neighborhood.
it’s a taro shiba goofy photo friday!
this week, hunting pillows gives me crazy eyes. and i keep those crazy eyes when deciding which household item will be my next prey.
kiyomi, though, just watches. she likes showing off her profile for photos.
kiyomi’s eyes are ever watchful, until she falls asleep.
it’s a kiyomi shiba goofy photo friday!
kiyomi makes funny faces after naps. she usually goes right back to sleep, though. often she’s just as adorable falling asleep—like in this pic when she snuggled up to the tv remote.
shiba video monday!
today, we’re sharing two videos of us shibas being semi-active in the living room. we hope you enjoy them!
in the first video, i slowly convince kiyomi to play. like me, you’ll have to be patient—she plays eventually!
the second video is kiyomi chewing on a bedrest/reading pillow. there’s something very zen about kiyomi’s enjoyment of chewing this piece of pillow.
even more than usual, kiyomi and i took hudad’s side of the bed last night.
why? because hudad took us to the vet yesterday for vaccines, bloodwork and a health check. what a jerk.
being displeased with our vet visit, kiyomi and i protested by occupying the bed. you can see a couple of pics of our vet visit below:
we did get good news, though. kiyomi’s heart rate is no longer slow! and, unlike last year, she’s able to put on weight now. unfortunately, kiyomi has helped herself to far too many noms and now has to lose a good chunk of weight.
the vet also said that, while i’m in the normal weight range, i can lose a bit, too. i told my humans that i demand to see her credentials in triplicate before i’m willing to start a diet plan.
