About the Shiba

Taro is a small, red, male shiba from PHX. He was born November 2008 and was adopted from Shiba Inu Rescue Association by Kai & Tra in July 2009. Don't let his slight stature fool you; he is an experienced practitioner of Shiba Mind Control. He loves socks, balls, sticks and pinecones, and volunteers twice a month at memory care and rehabilitation facilities.

i love going to visit my humans’ relatives; got lots of good food from those humans, and i even convinced my humans to give me some special treats (like Yoghund—frozen yogurt for dogs)… as you other shibas know, it’s always easier to use #ShibaMindControl on those who aren’t used to deflecting our powers or on our own humans when they are distracted!

Fallout from a Rainy Walk/Trip to the Dog Park

2) my humans will *finally* submit my profile to project dog this weekend. the clear winner in the contest was photo 1 (taro is king of the mountain!). thanks all for voting!

Taro Shiba is King of the Mountain however, there was a bit of a snag… the photo submission size is pretty constricted. and, as cool as the king of the mountain photo is, it’s pretty hard to see me, even after cropping. so, i’m giving you one last chance to weigh in: if you think it’s too difficult to see me in the cropped version of the king of the mountain photo (left), please tell me. if enough people suggest it, i’ll make my humans switch it to a different photo. thx!
