my human kai & i have been playing around with the toonpaint app after i saw this classic photo posted on the queen shiba blog.
the photo at the top of the post is a toonpaint version of this photo of me on a bench in tempe beach park:
i will share some more of these photos on the blog in the future. some of them are really cool!
just for good measure, check out this before & after:
before toonpaint:
and after:
cool, right? these look so interesting i’m starting to think i deserve my own cartoon on network TV.
it’s a retro/hipstamatic taro wednesday!
today’s photo is a black-and-white shot of me in motion. i was walking across an asphalt parking lot near downtown tempe. it came out pretty well, almost as if there was a spotlight focused just on my shiba face & paws!
as a bonus, i’ve uploaded a handful of toonpaint photos to flickr. they’re all pics of kai and i walking on a sidewalk in tempe beach park at (near) sunset. some really interesting results and cool shadows. you can see the set here, but first check out this example photo:
I’m sleeping straight through the day and my humans are working, so I can’t share all my cool new photos from my san francisco vacation just yet.
However, to sate your shiba photo appetite, I present to you the cover of issue #1 of the not-yet-real comic: The Adventures of Taro & Zuko.
Photo taken on iPod touch and modified with toonpaint app.
One more note: I totally miss my big shiba bro, Zuko.
